Meet the Northcoast Seafood Team

Experience:
Having attained a BSc Honours Degree in Fisheries from the University of Akureyri, Iceland Fridrik has worked his way up from working as a fisherman on a trawler to Managing Director of Northcoast Seafoods Ltd. His key responsibilities include the sourcing and procurement of raw material for the entire group, and Prawn product sales for the Head Office Division, including Cold and Warm water species.

Experience:
Having gained considerable experience within a varied background as an Independent Financial and IT consultant, Steve joined the company during 2003. His duties cover all aspects of Internal and Group financial reporting and control, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

Experience:
Ian has 23 years experience in the seafood industry, formerly in a technical role before moving into Sales in 1994. Ian's role comprises of global sourcing and procurement of Whitefish products and the sale of these products into UK Foodservice and Retail outlets.

Experience:
Chris has over 25 years experience within the seafood industry and has dealt with all the major UK retailers within this period. Chris's role comprises of global sourcing and procurement of fish and shellfish products and the sale of these products to blue chip companies and retail outlets within the UK.

Experience:
Leigh has a family background of working within the seafood industry and he himself has 10 years experience in the business. From 2001 he has been involved with the technical aspects of the business and quality control. He worked freelance for over 2 years starting in 2007, before being recruited into Northcoast Seafoods as our Technical Manager and Sales Support executive in April 2010.

Experience:
Samantha was brought onboard in 2005 Logistics Manager for the Group. Her role involves organizing the import of numerous containers into the UK from Canada, Iceland, China, & Thailand and her previous experience as a Customs Clearance Coordinator prior to joining the company aids her in this process. In addition Samantha is also responsible for arranging Cold storage and onward deliveries of our products to our customers.

Experience:
Having graduated in 2005 with a BSc Degree in Ecology Dyan has since worked in the Retail and Banking industries where she has acquired extensive Customer Service skills. Primarily handling complaints and dealing with enquiries prior to joining Northcoast Seafoods Ltd her duties now include the processing of sales orders and invoices, website updates and administration.
